
Individuals
The Individual competition will be divided into four events:
Individual BC1/ BC2/ BC4 Combined:
- 8 athletes will compete in two pools of four
- Each athlete will play each other athlete in their pool once during pool play (three pool matches)
- The top two athletes from each pool advance to the knockout rounds (semi-finals, gold/silver and bronze medal matches)
- The bottom two athletes from each pool will not advance to the knockout rounds but will play a placing match
Individual BC3:
- 11 athletes will compete in one pool of five (Pool A) and one pool of six (Pool B)
- Each athlete in Pool A will play each other athlete in Pool A once during pool play (four pool matches)
- Each athlete in Pool B will play each other athlete in Pool B once during pool play (five pool matches)
- The top two athletes from each of Pool A and Pool B will advance to the knockout rounds (semi-finals, gold/silver and bronze medal matches)
- The bottom two athletes from Pool A and the Bottom three athletes from Pool B will not advance to the knockout rounds but will play a placing match
Individual BC5:
- 4 athletes will compete in one pool of four
- Each athlete will play each other athlete once during pool play (three pool matches)
- The top four athletes from pool play will advance to the knockout rounds (semi-finals, gold/silver and bronze medal matches
Individual Kiwi/ Open:
- 6 athletes will compete in one pool of six
- Each athlete will play each other athlete once during pool play (five pool matches)
- The top four athletes form pool play will advance to the knockout rounds (semi-finals, gold/silver and bronze medal matches
- The bottom two athletes from pool play will not advance to the knockout rounds but will play a placing match
